Poster for a Cause:
As a brief, we were given the task to design a poster geared toward college students, with an emphasis on a social cause of our choosing. For this project, I chose to design a poster raising awareness for student burnout.

During the ideation stage, I explored various avenues to connect with college students. I explored the use of pop culture references, or busy, attention grabbing graphics. In the end the design chosen was one that fit into a cohesive theme without the need for knowledge of pop culture.
At this stage I designed and developed the central character's form and shape before illustrating it, making sure the shapes were cohesive with other assets chosen such as typography and color palette.

Various iterations were made of the final poster design to experiment with compositions and color arrangements and readability.
The final design was chosen for its emphasis on the social message instead of the artwork featured in the poster.
